Urban Retreat Sanctuary (Old Town)

Scope: Tier 1: Design Only, 0.15 Acre City Lot

Focus: Creating a High-Vibe, Introspective Space in a Constrained Environment.

The challenge here is transforming a narrow, highly visible city lot into a private, high-vibe sanctuary. The design centers on creating distinct zones: a meditative patio paved with decomposed granite and framed by dense, textural native shrubs for privacy, and a front pollinator garden featuring intense color from Evening Primrose and Rocky Mountain Beeplant. The successful integration of vertical hardscape elements allows us to maximize usable space while achieving minimal long-term water usage, proving that sustainable beauty is possible in the densest urban settings.
